SPX-990 Yamaha's SPX990 Professional Multi-effect Processor offers unprecedented signal-processing quality and control. 20-bit A/D and D/A conversion ensure professional-quality sound, while a versatile three-stage effect configuration makes it easy to achieve the "polished" sound that professional applications demand. It also features a true stereo (2-in/2-out) configuration that is ideal for processing stereo sources. The SPX990 has 80 preset effect programs that are ready to use, or you can edit the presets and store the results in any of 100 internal memory locations. The SPX990 also accepts external memory cards that can store up to 100 effect programs each. A range of new effects makes the SPX990 more expressive than ever: totally natural reverb, various pitch change effects, tempo-based delays, and much, much more. If the quality of your sound is limited by youreffects, try out a Yamaha SPX990 and experience total sonic freedom. |
Roland SRV-3030 REVERB 24-Bit Digital Reverb Processor 1 unit rackmount digital reverb processor offering true 24-bit resolution via superb A/D and D/A converters and 30-bit internal processing. Dynamic Separation Algorithm splits signals into two independent reverb paths by sensing differences in dynamics, frequency range, or note density. Instant reverb editing possible using three Direct Edit knobs: Reverb Time, Reverb Level, and Assignable (EZ) Edit mode provides easy control through parameters associated with sound images (e.g., "Room Size," "Wall Type," "Liveness"). Custom Edit mode allows comprehensive reverb adjustment. The SRV-3030's sound quality is truly a cut above other compact stereo reverb processors on the market today. This rackmount wonder incorporates a new custom DSP chip, superb 24-bit A/D and D/A converters, and a unique dual-processor design, yielding a sound quality previously only realised in reverb units costing several thousands of dollars more. Without exception, the renowned Roland reverb algorithms-provided by two independent reverb processors-are lush and stunningly natural and musical. The SRV-3030 also comes with RSS, Flanger/Chorus, Phaser, and Resonator effects to complement its high-quality reverb sounds. And professional users can even opt for the SRV-3030D model, which includes 24-bit coaxial digital inputs and outputs that make it perfect for pairing with a Roland VS workstation or VM mixer. Above
all, the SRV-3030 is a highly intuitive tool for studio and stage. Quick
editing of reverb parameters is possible for musicians and engineers at
all levels, thanks to a streamlined graphic LCD and three edit modes. Direct
Edit mode uses physical knobs-marked Reverb Time, Reverb Level and Assignable-to
make instant, "on the fly" adjustments to overall reverb sound.
Beyond this instant Direct Edit mode, SRV-3030 users can enter an expanded
EZ Edit mode, which includes easy-to-understand graphics and parameters
such as "Room Size," "Liveness," and "Wall Type."
Adjusting "Room Size," for example, automatically adjusts a reverb's
early reflection, reverb depth, pre-delay time, and reverb panning width.
Of course, experienced and professional users can completely customise their
reverb Patches-tweaking all variables independently-using the full-featured
Custom Edit mode. |
